Get on the board in one command

It’s a public leaderboard for how many AI coding tokens you’re burning — a rough proxy for how much you’re building with AI. The one command reads the usage logs your coding agents already write locally, adds up your daily tokens and cost, and (if you choose to be listed) ranks you against everyone else.

No. npx downloads and runs it for you — there’s nothing to install and no account required to see your own numbers. You only sign in if you want to appear on the public leaderboard or save your spot.

For each day, tool, and model, exactly six numbers: input tokens, output tokens, cache-write tokens, cache-read tokens, estimated cost, and the date. That’s it. Never your prompts, your code, file names, project names, or anything you typed or generated. Run npx whoburnedmore --dry-run to see the exact payload before sending.

The agents that keep local usage logs, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, opencode, Amp, Droid, Goose, Kimi, Qwen, Kilo and more — 15 tools today. The usage reading is built on the open-source ccusage project.

Run npx whoburnedmore --local. It builds the same dashboard but opens it only on your own machine — nothing is uploaded and you don’t appear anywhere.

Sign in with GitHub or Google and add at least one social handle. Only then are you listed — a bare run is never indexed. Adding a handle is also how friends recognize you when you compare burn against each other.

Only if you say yes. It can offer an optional background sync that re-checks your usage every 15 minutes so your stats stay live — it’s never installed silently. Remove it anytime with npx whoburnedmore uninstall-sync.

Yes. You can make your profile private or delete your submitted totals from your dashboard at any time. Since we never store your code or prompts, the only thing to remove is those daily aggregate numbers.
